Eco-Luxury Between Bali and Nusa Penida

About the destination: Sidemen is an administrative division in the Karangasem regency of Bali Province, Indonesia. Sidemen has a population of 3780 (2010 census). In the Sidemen valley, small villages are surrounded by lush rice fields and agriculture land. Sidemen is located in East Bali in the Karangasem regency. It is only a 1-hour drive from Ubud. It has tropical climate with an average temperature of 24 Degrees Celcius. The lush green and montainous landscape comes with more rain than other parts of Bali, even in the dry season.

About the destination: Tegallalang or Tegal Lalang is a kecamatan (district) in the kabupaten of Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia. Tegallalang is also a tourist village, with beautiful views of rice fields. It is located about 11 km north of Ubud, and its terraced rice fields are a tourist attraction in the area.

About the destination: Canggu is a coastal village and 10 km beach on the south coast of Bali, Indonesia. It lies approximately 10 kilometers north of Kuta, and presents a much more relaxing atmosphere of dining, cultural and beach activities. The main Canggu streets are Jalan Batu Bolong, Jalan Padang Linjong, Jalan Batu Mejan and Jalan Tanah Barak. Along Jalan Batu Bolong you find the temple of the dead, Pura Merajapati, and the Pipitan Cemetery. Along the beach there are two main temples, Pura Batu Bolong and Pura Batu Mejan, which are both hundreds of years old and were initiated for building by Dang Hyang Nirartha. The Canggu area used to have scenic views of paddy fields and coconut groves but current rapid developments are quickly replacing these traditional views with private villas. Canggu has gained popularity among surfers as a longboard-friendly surf spot, one of the few on the island. Three main strips have developed for tourists - surfers and non-surfers alike. The spotlight on the area as a surf destination has been helped along by the presence of Deus Ex Machina's Bali outpost, the Deus Temple of Enthusiasm, and its annual contest that focuses on classic single fin longboarding.

About the destination: Nusa Penida is an island southeast of Indonesia's island Bali and a district of Klungkung Regency that includes the neighbouring small island of Nusa Lembongan. The Badung Strait separates the island and Bali. The interior of Nusa Penida is hilly with a maximum altitude of 524 metres. It is drier than the nearby island of Bali. It is one of the major tourist attractions among the three Nusa islands and is rich in natural beauty. There are two small islands nearby - Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan - which are included within the district (kecamatan). Administratively, the kecamatan of the same name, had a population of 45,178 in 2010 census, covering 202.8 km2, very little changed from 10 years prior.
